I told my wife, over 32 yrs ago, the following..."the only mistress I have are my guns and hunting. As long as you NEVER get between them and me, you'll NEVER have to worry about other women".

My wifey and I agreed that, rather than cheat, we'd split up.

    I guess she forgot.

My wife said she never worries about me...When I say I am going fishing or hunting, she knows I am in the woods or by the lake....

I used to think that if an obsession with golf was the worse of my ex's vices, I could deal with it.
Turns out those weren't the only holes he was working on getting into.[}:)]
    Not funny.....

To be honest, IF you really love your companion (wife/husband)WHY would you? Should you be completely happy to have them in your life? Yes, you should. Cheating is like spitting on them , then calling them dirty, nasty, unworthy trash.

We should strive to be a better partner, not better at parting thighs of strangers.

Actually, it is the women who are the cheaters by far. Around 30% of all married men cheat on their wives at one time or another. Usually it is a long term relationship on the side. Around 72% of all married women cheat, but usually it is a one night stand kind of deal. Women will marry a good provider/father/husband type, but will cheat with a 'studdly do-right' while on a business trip or a so-called girls' night out. Most of the time the faithful provider/father/husband type never knows and they stay married forever.

Would love to know where you are getting your stats from, bigdaddy...
for if that is true, myself and most of the women I know, are "28%'ers."
Maybe we should get jackets with patches....

Not saying that women are any less duplicitous as men, just questioning your percentages....

It was a blind survey conducted by a group of psychologists from all over the country. I read it in Reader's Digest and also saw it on a Learning Channel show on modern sexuality. I was very suprised at the results and, after some thought on the matter, decided to be a little more studdly and a little less do-right.

Not my gig man. ghad a boss years ago in a dealership. 'sometyhing nice' would breeze through, and he'd look at me and say 'worth a sin?' with a twinkle.

with me, the logic is 'why steal a chevette, when you got a corvette in the garage?'
