Mike Vic wants forgiveness.....
Its amazing how his attitude has seemed to change now that he is facing some serious time. He, unfortunately, is not very convincing and I doubt that he has any real remorse for his actions, he is however, very sorry he got caught!

vick is a long time dog fighter. he loves it. lots of people do. he had plenty of time (YEARS) to feel remorse and stop but he didnt. he killed plenty of dogs. he could have stopped after looking into their eyes as he was killing them but he didnt. he has no remorse and he isnt sorry for what he did.

(AP) St. Paul Dogs around the Twin Cities now have a Michael Vick pig to chew on.
The St. Paul Saints minor league baseball team handed out the chew toy to the first 1,500 fans at its home game Tuesday night. It's the team mascot, a pig, in the Atlanta Falcons team colors and with Vick's name and number on it.
Saints promotion director Jack Weatherman said the team wanted to take a stand on the dogfighting charges against Vick. Weatherman said the public reaction has been totally one-sided, with many fans asking if they can buy the Vick chew toy -- and with absolutely no negative reaction.0 -

as many convicted criminals have found GOD since entering the penal system you would think churches would cut a deal for new converts....finders fee, reduced memberships, or discount tithing...and now some are even becoming aware of the divine presence before actually entering confinement...this is a step in the right direction if only this enlightenment could take effect before the actual crime were to occur seems like everyone would come out ahead....or reinstate capital punishment for misdemeanors.......seriously now this case has received more action & media than any number of horrific acts committed by illegals 0 -

Vick will be on "Leavenworth's Most Wanted" as the hard-boiled cons line up to be first to "bust his cherry,", assuming it still exists.
By Christmas, one of those cons will have a big heart on his right bicep, in a prison tattoo, with a picture of a pit bull on it, and the word "Mike" engraved just underneath.
Yes, as unlikely as it seems, love can be found, even among the hardboiled cons in the federal pen.

I've heard there's a possibility the Falcons will go after some of the money they've payed him, he may be facing charges from the State, and the NFL won't make a ruling 'til after his sentence is over. In the highly unlikely case that the NFL would not suspend him for a long time he's not good enough for anyone to be interested in him when this blows over. Take a look at the large number of really good young QBs in the League these days and the great prospects in the Nations College programs. As I've said, he'll serve his time, come out broke, and never make another play in the NFL. 0 -

Vick had a big motivation to make that speech yesterday.
Under federal sentencing guidelines, a person making a plea bargain can save a lot of prison time, perhaps even have his prison time cut in half, if he takes responsibility for his crimes, and makes apology.
Believe me Vick was coached for weeks by a very sharp legal team on just what to say.
I don't know if Vick meant a word of his little four minute speech, but if the judge likes it, it might have shaved six months to a year off of Vick's prison term.0 -
I just about laughed my ass off when Vic stated that he was into Jesus. My gosh -- that was certainly fast! Usually these jokers wait until after they've been behind bars for a few years and it is time for a parole hearing.
