Century International Arms
I received a copy of the March Flyer (Century Arms) today and being a C&R License holder, was overwhelmed with the fact that I couldn't even order a Bud Lite and a pack of Marlboros (metaphor) from this company while living in New York State. The 5 Boroughs of New York City ... Michael Bloomberg's [:o)]sacred city doesn't allow toy guns...They have arrested children for having them. I live upstate and escape some of this madness.
A call to Century arms brings about the response "were not sure of the laws so we won't send any of these items"[:(]
The Century Flyer has... Top Left side "The NRA Foundation, Teach Freedom"
I know N.Y.S. causes a very large vacuum (fel*atio)[:0]
But Is This a Justifiable Response From a Major Arms Company? [?]

This will not sound very fair to you but, if you wish to order from them then, clean up the anti gun laws in your state. If more firearms dealers, and manufactures were to take the stance of Ronnie Barret, we would probally have fewer restrictions on firearms. I appluad the companies that take the stance of the all mighty dollar dosen't mean everything. 0 -
I agree they are only protecting them selves so that they can continu to sell firearms to those who live in more gun friendly states!!!
I live in PA, but I work in NY, you couldn't pay me enough to live in that State, it's second only to California in my eyes!!!0 -
hate to say it but yeah... if the laws are too dang arbitrary, numerous, and mutating all the time, they would be taking an unacceptable risk. can't say as I blame them.
I'd suggest moving somewhere else.0 -
You can't blame a "MAJOR ARMS COMPANY" who doesn't want to tip toe through the landmines of a State full of anti firearm laws. 0 -
Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY), and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY
These are my 2 representatives, I've called Schumers office. They laughted and hung up the phone
Whom do you suggest I complain to ?......0 -
Perhaps you can complain to a state senator or rep? 0 -
It would be ironic if one of these New York congressmen died from getting stabbed to death or tossed off a high building. Then the person that did it accepted interviews with all the major news media and said "I didn't need a gun to kill them". 0 -
hhmm, look at what's going on.
NY doesn't like guns.
legal minefield.
effectively, banned.
or at least got some speed bumps in the way.
now look at this.
Second Amendment.
SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.
could you say that "shall not be infringed" would mean no laws at all? if so, that would keep the "legal minefield" from happening.
if so, the framers of the constitution were very clever indeed.
SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. no laws=no infringements, = no legal minefields to effectively ban guns with.
I wonder if that was their intent. this should be looked in to. perhaps "shall not be infringed" should be clarified: it specifically states "no gun laws".0 -

How about the idiots that elected them!!!![:D][:p][B)]0 -
A better response to being laughed at by schumer's office would be to make sure that you call all your pro-gun friends and relatives the day before and the day of your next election and remind them to go out and vote pro-gun. And when he calls to ask you for your vote, return the favor and laugh in his face. 0
