"Sniper" photos
I received the following photos in an email from a fellow veteran. I cannot vouch for their authenticity beyond that.
If gore (not Al, the other kind) bothers you, close the thread now and don't scroll down.
"I wonder how many stuffed animals he won as a child at the county fair !!"
TALK ABOUT A HEADACHE...
This is a highly trained Army sniper with his 50 caliber rifle His job is to protect the "Green Zone" in Baghdad, Iraq (basically his job is prevent the sheet-heads from sneaking into the compound).

Anyway, one day Achmed snuck into the perimeter and got tagged from 1500 yards out before he could do any mischief. Note the vest laden with explosives! Achmed won't be doing this poop anymore...he learned his lesson.
HOR...too graphic for a family site....ECC

Wow! Thats graphic! Yukky!
I suppose if they just let that body lie in the street and decompose it would be quite a wake up call to insurgents![:0][:0]0 -
yea ive seen those photos on line before, but from the people ive talked to, the .50 BMG is not used for anti personel, its anti vehicle. 0 -

It's used for long range sniping, no matter what the target.0 -
When did they get pine trees in Iraq? 0 -
you think if someone needs shooting, the sniper says" wait, this rifle is for anti-material only"?

The vehicle marking indicates that's Kosovo. It's also been awhile since the Army wore woodland pattern BDU's.
The pic of the good terrorist has been floating around the net for several years now with several different narratives. Also, that's not an explosives laden belt. Those are chest-carry AK mag pouches.0 -

You've been speaking with the wrong people. Yes, they are used on vehicles, but my team used .50's to take out high ranking officers at over 1500 yards. Most were head shots just like that to induce panic in the ranks. There's nothing like your commanding officer loosing his head (literally) during morning formation to make you wonder when you are next. [;)]
i never said i was the absolute authority, just what ive heard and read. damn. [:D][:)][8D]0 -

i don't know about that, I'll asked him.
I do know that just in the last 60 or less days a swat comander from somewhere usa. just spent how ever long going threw the training made it and lasted only three days in IRAQ. i guess the incoming mortar during his gun training (first day) did nothing the second day but rest third day they go out for a drive the double RPGS between their two vehicles did him in. RANG OUT in less than 72hrs0 -

More like a spliting headache[:D] 0 -
as others have said before, this is a composite hoax.
Both pictures are real, but they are not connected. Mr. raghead did not meet his demise at the hands of the .50 cal sniper, who was at the time of the photo part of the KFOR peacekeepers in Kosovo.0 -
