Wow, Someone has an attitude!! [:D]0 -
Haha...he needs hit 0 -
Just to show you that home school kids do not know how to communicate and react in public. To mix and grow with his peers is important to development, so they don't grow up to be educated idiots like this kid. 0 -
I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing. Sure this kid can spell, but all that's going to get him is being able to realize there's no such word as McChicken when he gets a job at the local McDonald's. 0 -

You and your brother sure have a way with words. I get really tickled. [:D][:D][:D][:D]0 -

I think it's funny how he made the reporter almost lose her cool! I have known my share of home-schooled kids. Not all turn out anti-social or "backwards." Depends on the kids and parents. This kid seems to almost be a savant of some kind, extremely smart, but not to bright otherwise. 0 -
I think hes some sort of savot. 0 -

savant.
Anyway, it was pretty painful to watch.0 -
He needs to be taken out into "social" settings more often....and I really hope his mom or dad correct his inability to be respectful to elders. I doubt they do though...more likely they pat his head and tell him how bright and wonderful he is as they tuck him in each nite. 0 -

That is not true. Whether a person in extroverted or introverted does not depend on whether they are homeschooled or not.0 -

Sah-Vahnt.

He's just a kid who hasn't developed a lot of self confidence yet, and a crack across the head probably wouldn't hurt. [:D] 0 -
Does someone need a Social Studies teacher?
Well here she is.

The kids just a nerd. Painfully nerdy. Not his fault. He will probally grow up to make 100 times the amount anyone on this board will make with some job title that nobody on this board has ever heard of or could pronounce.
Personally I'm extremely disapointed in some of the poophead reactions I've read on this board from "adults". This is exactly the type of kid that used to be picked on badly in school. I used to whip the peoples ass when they picked on kids like this. Not everyone can be "cool".
Maybe it's just me, I've always had a soft spot for nerds, geeks, mentally challenged, ect and hated seeing people prey on them.0 -

Zipper, don't you mean to say ME 11??? lol0 -
I don't think he had an attitude, more of a lack of social skills. I've dealt with a few home schooled kids. Most seem to be extremely book smart, but lack behind other kids their same age in social skills. That's why it is important to get home schooled kids active in outside activities with kids their same age. 0 -

I think he just thinks things out before he answers questions. I don't think he was being rude. And he was correct-if you want to know what his mom thinks-ask HER! And if he wanted to be disrespectful, he could have stated that he thought she was an idiot because she did not pronounce the word correctly.
I (and probably a few others around here) would probably benefit from thinking things out before speaking at times.
I think the reporter got flustered because he didn't answer the way a "typical" kid his age would.
I think the kid will be fine. And I think the reporter, while not good with words, is still pleasant to look at and HOT. (see what I mean about not thinking things out-if my wife reads this-she's gonna be ticked...)[:D]0
