Yes ... Be Very Afraid!!! 91 Yr. Army Vet Beating
Caught the 22 year old thug ... and now he's complaining about being scared!
Jeeeze![V]
DETROIT -- A 22-year-old man was ordered Wednesday to stand trial on charges that he beat and carjacked a 91-year-old Army veteran.
Deonte E. Bradley was arrested May 10, six days after the attack on Leonard Sims. A convenience store surveillance videotape showing Sims being punched in the head was broadcast on news programs and Web sites. He was struck 21 times.
Bradley appeared in court Wednesday for his preliminary examination. Bradley's attorney asked the judge to provide protection for Bradley, who said he fears for his safety inside the Wayne County Jail. Eric Goze wants his client isolated because he has allegedly been threatened while in custody.
Sims described the attack frame by frame in a Wayne County courtroom.
"He asked for a light for a cigarette, pushed me in the face, then punched so fast, so close, he hit me about 20 times," Sims said. He testified that the punches damaged his hearing.
Police said Bradley confessed to the assault and carjacking.
In court, police Officer Kevin White read Bradley's confession: "I hit him a few times, got the keys and drove off in the car. It wasn't intentionally. It was stupid."
Sims' wife was asked about Bradley's request for protection.
"No, no, no. Let the prisoners have him. Let him see what it's like to be hit 21 times, and his friends stood by and watched and did nothing," Nora Sims said.
District Judge Mark A. Randon ruled there was sufficient evidence to bind Bradley over for trial. Randon raised Bradley's bond from $75,000 to $1 million, meaning he would have to pay 10 percent of that amount to be released.

I think it is funny how this idiot thinks he should have protection from the type of thing HE DID to a 90 yr old vet!!! Now why on earth would we want to go to any trouble for this SCUM....
We all know they will more than likely put him in some kind of solitary for whatever teeeeny bit of time he serves and when he gets out.....THAT is when he will recieve his "just punishment" IF they put a giant light on the day he is released and give the details of his crime again.
...just before he walks out of jail....play the video with his ugly picture in a corner of the screen. I look foreward to THAT day.0 -

I hope he dies in prison from rectal bleeding.[:(!]
He is less than human.0 -
I sent a case of K-Y jelly to the Wayne County Jail, compliments of Leonard Sims. 0 -
Jesse and Al will likely never weigh in on this.
Why?
Because it was a "black on black" crime if I am not mistaken.
I do think the suspect deserves "reasonable" protection until convicted. Otherwise, we are not much better than him.
And I think the 91 year old veteran (and all those cowards that stood around without even calling the police) should get a gun and shoot the next cowardly mugger that beats up an old person.0
