Shipping alcohol

What special things do I have to and/or charges do I have to pay to ship alcohol? It will be some small 50 ML bottles, all of which are plastic.

    Alcohol can be shipped to/from these states. (beer/wine - not sure about other stuff) Check out most homebrewing sites for specific laws.

    CA, CO, DC, FL, GA ID, IL, IA, LA, MN, MO, NE, NM, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, SC, VA, WA, WV, WI.

    ship them for the collector value of the bottle {hey collecting is in the eye of the beholder}

    You do have to declare it as a flammable or it's a felony.

    Not sure about beer, but I wouldn't ship a carbonated liquid under any circumstance.

    I was told that you can get around the shipping regs by labling the package "Contains Yeast"...I'm not sure if that is true, but I have a couple six packs of some local brew I need to ship out.

    why not there are hundreds if not thousands of online clubs you can buy from and receive through the mail

    But, if it's handled roughly or exposed to adverse temeratures (and this is the time of year for that), it will leak. If it does, I would expect a knock at the door and some legal fees.
