Winchester model 70 in 7X57 caliber?
    Pre 64?
    Push Feed?
    Controlled Feed?

You took it wrong about the plant closer. The havoc of "buying while they last" has already worn off about the plant closing.

The Model 70's hit the roof soon after and have finally came back down to earth. Model 70's that were selling for $1200 to $1500 NIB are now fetching around $700 to $800 excluding the Pre 64's, Super Grades and large calibers etc.

Hang onto it if it is new. For it will be awhile before the price reaches anything near the 64's value.

    Hello "LesWVa"[:)]

I would like to be able to tell you that it was control feed, but alas it is push feed. I normally use my 98 mauser in 6.5X55 for deer hunting or my shotgun, but once in a great while I will take the Winchester afield.

    I have a '94 that was made in 1939. 30/30 WCF.About 80%. No box.
I picked it up at a show,9 months before the factory closure, for $400.
[:p]... Wonder what that's worth now??
