Cleaning muzzle brakes
After quite a few shots my muzzle brake got dirty and i was curious as to what is the best way to clean it. Right now i am just using a small .177 airgun Bore brush to get out any of the larger crud in it. Thanks

I recall there was a pump spray juice that was supposed to keep the compensator clean (or was it so that the gunk would come off easier when cleaning). I'd get some "Pipe Cleaners" after the comp soaks in something like Hoppe's then clean the holes.
I got a muzzle brake that unscrews so the dunking is easy.0 -
It's called:
Carter's Compensator And Muzzle Brake Spray
I use Simple Green and generic brake or carb cleaner from your basic Mart store. My ultrasonic cleaner is too big to use for something as small as a brake although the concept is perfect.
There is an article about small ultrasonic cleaners on 6mmbr:
