Tried to e-mail this but got back a no-go message:

Hello Nononsense, is the G96 you use the Mil Spec Synthetic oil? I have long quested for the perfect cleaning/lubing liquids, and likely my accumulation rivals yours, except I paid for all the also-rans in my own stash. I have tested a bunch and like Eliminator above others. Most work fairly well, but I am still looking for the cleaner where I can hold the gun near the bottle and be done. Thanks

You might find him over at the Experts forum, however he does make it over to this side once in a while.

BTW: It's not a AR or is it AR based. It is a french made .50BMG sniper rifle called the Hecate II, here's a link for you:
