Long link ??

I want to post a link but it is a VERY long one.
Isn't there a way to shrink it?
Don't tell me to soak it in water.

  The original link inside these " " .....No empty spaces.

  Henry posted a good idea the other day and I've several chances to use it and it works! See if this makes sense:
  
  When you want to post a URL, select the "insert hyperlink" button above, 6th from the right. It looks like this - (url)(/url) but with square brackets [][]. Place your link inside the first set of brackets with an equal sign and between quotes... (url="blah blah blah")new title(/url)
  The 'new title' is a reference that you decide. Here's what it should look like:
  
  (url="www.......com")Hi guys(/url) *remember square brackets*
