warning stamp
does anyone know the date that gun manufacturers were required to stamp the read users manual before use abomination on there guns?

To the best of my knowledge there is no law requiring them to do so. They do it as a self defense against law suits by idiots.0 -
It got started after a revolver manfacture (Colt IIRC) was sued and lost, by some idiot that tried to unload a single action revolver shot himself in the foot (it couldn't have had anything to do with his using a borrowed gun, and trying to unload it while sitting in a dark car. I mean it's unreasonable to think that he should have been pointing it in a safe direction and maybe even turned on the dome light or even done it in front of the headlights). 0
