Spring has arrived... (image intensive)
...in eastern Washington. And I've upgraded my camera, which gives me an excuse to go and reshoot photos of all the flowers I've already shot!
A weedy little mustard called Draba verna (I don't know if it has a common name--everybody I know just calls it "Draba"). This flower is less than 1/4" wide.
Lomatium macrocarpum (sometimes called desert parsley).
And the one that really makes it spring: Ranunculus glaberrimus, or the sagebrush buttercup.

I was in Yakima this weekend and it was sunny and 72 dry and windy.
Got back to the wet side and it was 49 raining and windy.
We'll get spring in Seattle around May.

It's an Olympus C-5060; my sister gave me an insanely good deal on it, used. So it's obsolete already, but still a step up from my last one[:D]0 -
