Ballistics chart software . Help?
On the Airgun forums my free trial period of PelAirguns 75 software expired. I am trying to plot the "zeros" for a 55gn. bullet at 3300 fps. The "sight" is 2 in. above bore center, for charting purposes. If some kind sole would care to help me by either charting this FOR me, using their own copy of software, or helping me to locate another source of Ballistics software. Google for "ballistic calculator", there are a bunch of free ones online.
You will need to know the actual BC of the bullet your using, your actual muzzle velocity, possibily the atmospheric conditions you'll be shooting under, and at what range you want your actual zero range (or are you going with a point blank zero, in which case you'll need to know your "kill zone" diameter)to be so that it can calculate your over/under out to ??0
