If this is true, combined with more fuel efficiency, we could become an oil exporting nation. That would be fantastic. 0 -
EM I'm just trying to cheer up everybody I think we could use it. I think we have more reserve than we ever thought but the oil companys are playing us like a fool. 0 -
I was told buy a guy who works for company that has refineries anyways he told me the crude from up here in northern USA and Canada is not very good quality ....almost like a tar then oil has to be steamed out to get it and does not make very good quality fuel....you know anything about it?
there is no shortage of crude to my knowledge there is a shortage of refinery capacity though and that is a bigger problem...
also this ultra low sulfur diesel fuel is garbage.....i would like to know what the hell we accomplished by taking all...nearly all of it out..the tractors and combines and ect i run now burn more fuel than they did when we had better quality of fuel...among many other unfavorable things that have occured because of ULSD.0 -

I agree with that! It helped nothing. It's added to the cost of making the fuel. My fuel mileage went down about 3 mpg with this junk. I also have to spend more money now on 2 cycle oil to add to my fuel to keep my injection pump lubed and happy.0 -
