I owned one a while back. Reliable, reasonably accurate - about as good as a CZ75. I'd recommend it. Mind you, mine was in 9mm, so I have no idea how it is in .40 or .45

Oh, and just in case you're curious, I don't have it anymore because I had to sell it out of necessity, not because it was an inferior gun. If the bills hadn't been piling up back then, I'd still have it today.[8D]

I have one in 9mm and all metal. It runs great. Shoots better than I do. I also have a couple Glock 9mm and a Springfield 1911 in 9mm. They all shoot better than I do. I'm going to sell a couple of them.
I think the Desert Eagle is a fine gun!

That's a negative, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to climb up a tree and take a baby eagle home with you.

I had one in 40...Nice fit and a better than usual shooter. Good buy for the money.

I have owned a Baby Eagle for about 8 years now and it is my favorite 9mm pistol I own. Very easy to shoot and hit what you are trying to hit.
I don't think I would ever sell this pistol.
When people talk SHTF type situations I will have this 9mm with me.
Cycles anything and everything I feed it.

You are talking about a Baby Eagle, and not a Desert Eagle, aren't you ??

I like them - they feel a lot like a Hi-Power, in your hand.

When I was first looking into getting a handgun I was going for one of those but they had a fine deal on A Sig Sauer. Fine gun though. Like said above, all metal, shoot well, accurate, comfortable.

You made the right choice with the Sig. You just can't go wrong with a Sig! [:D]

Dang it people, SIG is an acronym not a name (Sig). It stands for Schweizerische Industrie-Gesellschaft, known worldwide as SIG. Oh the hummanity!!!

i wouldn't carry it as its way overweight. I had a .40 and it shot nice, recoil was nothing and the accuracy out of the box was great (chrome barrel). actually if i remember right the difference between the polymer frame and the steel frame is a mere few ounces just FYI.
