    Well I guess saying "That's gonna leave a mark" is a bit of an understatement. I think you should stay away from sharp objects for awhile. Glad it wasn't worse.

    I'd done it many times before.Huge butcher-knife, "steeled" to a razor edge.MY BAD...Won't happen again,,,,tak'it 2 the bank!

    I don't think I'd have done that. But if I just had to do that, I'd cut them a little more to the side away from those tender fingertip nerves. That's gotta smart.

    I agree with the other poster,........WTH don't you just drop those little frozen meatballs into the sauce.
    They are precooked, and will be hot in about 20 minutes of simmering.
    Bet you try that next time![:D]

    No Marc, these were home made. I cook up a 5lb batch about 3 times a year, and freez'em up...It was a pretty dumb thing to do[V]
    I'm payin the price for doin it now.What i can't believe is the BIATCH Dr. in charge wrote me NO pain med. scrip...I mean,, look at the damn cut, i nearly severed that finger!!
    I got a notion to go to that hospital, and have a word with some admin.

    Put them in a Ziplock bag, and soak in cool water to thaw first then![:D]
    Take 3 OTC 200mg Ibuprofens.
    It needs to hurt, to remind you next time not to be a "dolt"![8D]

    That's what i'd like to know.I still feel like i need to talk to her boss. The Dr. that stitched me up was a young guy, doing his time, until he becomes a "resident" Dr. i forget what it's called.I heard him ask the lady Dr. in charge to prescribe me some Vicodin, but she didn't even give me a frikkin ASPRIN!!Whadda U think Capt? Would U have written me a scrip?
