Have you seen an empty trash can in your house?

I swear, the only time I see an empty trash can in my house is when I just put the new bag in. After that is seems it is always full (overflowing full)! Whenever I open it , full again! Quite annoying. Apparently we generate an enormous amount of trash.

Are your trash cans always full or is it just me?

    Always full. Maybe the vanishing sox go there. It for sure isn't the breeding coat hangers.

    With the exception of the can in the kitchen pantry, we've never generated enough trash in our home during the week that we had to dump a trash can before we could add more trash. Now, before we were empty nesters, that was a different story![:0]

    When here by myself I only have to empty the kitchen garbage once a week. When the family is here it needs taken out daily.[:0]

    Not unless I empty it....along with ashtrays....

    One of my pet peeves, along with being the only person in the house that is apparently capable of reloading the toilet paper holder.

    The others in this house (who shall remain nameless[}:)]) will pile on the gabage onto the top of the heap, and keep piling it til it's spilling onto the floor. Doesn't seem to bother 'em.....

    I figure it must be by vurtue of my college education that I am the only person in the house with the intellectual ability to recognize that the garbage needs to be taken out, or can discern how to operate the toilet paper holder-thingy....[;)]

    Bad timing sounds like, I rarely take it our empty it but will do so if it is full. As far as the toilet paper holder lets not go there.

    While the youngest was still here, empting trash cans was his chore. We would have fights over when he was going to get around to it. I didn't need the uclers fighting over whose house it was. (It didn't help that he was/is significantly bigger than I am.)

    Now 15 yrs later, when the can is full I take it out and enjoy getting it done when it's needed. .

    I figure by virtue of having a college educated servant, the rest of the slobs in your house can discern that they have it made. Can you get more pizza while you are up?

    The wife usually takes ours out, because she's a pyro and loves to burn brush with it. We have to seperate the things that don't burn such as cans ect. That stuff goes either to recycling or the landfill.

    I used the last trash bag in the kitchen the other day, and when I threw away the empty trash bag box the trash was full again...
