I'd boycott E-Bay, but I have made enough money on there the last 6 weeks to buy me a Winchester 45-70.

I would like to boycott any company that puts a recording on when you call instead of a live operator/receptionist to help process your call..these companies don't deserve my money if they can't help me other than waste my time putting me on hold or making me "PUSH ONE FOR ENGLISH"...and then I get some person in Pakistan whom I can't understand even when I'm speaking English...[:(!][V][xx(]..Loko 0 -

Insist on speaking to someone in the United States of America if you end up speaking to someone in Pakistan or elsewhere. Take care of business at hand, then ask to speak to their supervisor and let them know how you feel about tech support from another country.
Had AOL for many years, had a problem and got with tech support, they were in some foreign country, couldn't speak a form I could understand. Finally got someone who spoke enough English we could communicate and at that point, canceled them out.
Had some fun one time with a young lady in the Philippines, she was making up words as she went so I figured to do her the same way, left her so confused I think she went back to school.
I will not knowingly do business with a company who has moved jobs overseas so they can pay someone a dollar or two an hour to avoid paying an American a decent living wage, the same time the executives making millions.
Lowes down the road hates to see me coming, I always speak to the manager about the signs in Spanish. The great majority of the illegals can't read or write Spanish, why the signs in Spanish? Next thing we talk about is why can't I buy a light fixture made in the USA? They are all made in China. I'd have no problem paying a little more for one made in the USA, if I had a choice, seems we no longer have a choice. I ended up going to Goodwill across the street and got a nice used lamp there for a whole lot less than a new one from Lowes, it was made in the USA. I was still p'd off but felt a little better about it all.
Remember a few years ago when Walmart advertised "buy made in the USA"? What happened there?
Speaking of Lowes, Walmart, etc. Rarely do any business with them, unless there is no other option. The neighborhood hardware is the place to go. They know me by name, if they ain't got it, they can have it no later than Thursday that week. I get good advice as to what works best for what I intend to fix or build. Don't have to deal with someone who doesn't know, doesn't care and is just there for the paycheck. It might cost a little more, rarely over 10% but it supports our community, the money doesn't go to Arkansas or spent to support anti gun legislation.0 -

Talk is cheap. Go for it and boycott whomever you want. The truth is, that most of us are greedy or cheap and we may talk about the big boycott, but when it comes right down to it, we just keep buying from them.[:0] 0 -

Personally, I boycott middle eastern owned businesses such as gas stations, motels, etc... Some of them may be good people, but some of those businesses helped support and finance the attack on 9/11. Just my opinion. 0 -
