Received my first college degree!
I've been awarded an Associate of Science degree from Ashland Community College. I know its not a big deal for most, but it is in my family.
Next up is my Bachelors degree. I should have that in a year and a half.

Congrats. You understand that everyone here on Gun Broker will now consider you to be an over educated elitest, out of touch with the common man working at the widget factory. 0 -
Congratulations, that's one of the big steps to make. Keep up the good work.[:)] 0 -
Way to go!
Community College, then bachelors is a prudent way to go. You'll gave a perceptive of the value of an education that someone who spends four years at a university doesn't see. I found that the junior college instructors are superior than MOST college instructors.
See it through to the end!0 -

Congrats, really. That's fantastic. I dropped out of a Architecture degree for a semester to get married, never went back. Now I've landed a job that's too good to leave, but I still wish I would have continued.

Does Geography count? [:D]
I worked for too long in a degree program that I honestly had no interest in: biology. I hated it and, quite frankly, I sucked at it. I only picked it because I figured the money was good. Now I'm doing something I enjoy and am doing well enough to get a pretty good research grant.

Congrats. Your hard work is paying off. 0 -
college degrees are great for self improvement. worthless for making money. a secretary makes more $$ than you will, and has been the whole time you've been spending time and $ in college.

Congrats! I find that the people that knock higher education are those without it. I started at community college too. Education is what seperates us from the animals (and illegal immigrants)

If you have a Masters, you get to hold the dust pan.0 -
