My new toy is a cannon.
Canon Power Shot S3 IS.6mega pixel 12 optical zoom.
The thing is very complicated but somewhat simple to use I have got most of the very basics down in a few hours. I am now trying to figure out advanced settings and how to put them into short cuts. There are photography subtleties I will need to learn.
This will be my intermediate attempt into nature and wild life photography without going thousands of dollars in the hole for professional equipment. Anyway I've wanted to do this for awhile. Now I have a camera that will give me a decent start at it.
This tower is almost a ? mile away. I am loving it.

Nice camera Okie, the good thing about digitals is that you can experiment with them. You take a pic you don't like just delete it. Take pics of everything and get used to it. You'll have a blast 0 -

Okie, I took that pic at the old Pinal cemetery just outside of Superior AZ. It's where Mattie Earp is buried. The graves are scattered kind of all over the hill, many now under cactus. The mountain in the background is Picket Post. 0 -
Cool, enjoy I just purchased a Olympus 5-megapix for the wife yesterday and a 6-megapix for myself today. Upgrading from some olympus 3-megapix's, that we have been using, good camera's thats why I stayed with Oly's. Long time back I used a couple different Canon's (35mm film) and they were the best. 0 -
Where are the rest of the Earps burried? I have been in that area and it is pretty.[:)]

Earl, I don't know where the rest of the Earps are buried. I do know one of the Clanton brothers is in the Globe Cemetery.
On his gravestone it says "NOT ALL GOOD MEN WORE BADGES"0
