    HA! The XM-8 isn't dead yet! I've heard there are reliablility/accuracy issues with the SCAR-L variant. Haven't heard much of the HK416 though.

    I bet it's a halfway decent weapon, though. I think that we should use a 7.62x51mm variant of the G-36.

    Of course the XM-8 isn't dead... it's called the G36 with fancy Starship Troopers furniture thrown on it to justify the different designation.
