Gopher round robin drawing

I bought this gopher made out of ballistic gel.

The seller said on the phone that it could take any rifle or pistol caliber. He said do not use shotguns on it . I thought it would be interesting to give each person two weeks to try and destory this little guy. After the two weeks give a run down of how many rounds you put into it, calibers, and maybe some pictures to show us how the little guy held up. After your two weeks just send it to the next guy on the list. The seller also said it would actually catch the older slower rounds which I found interesting.

Add your name if you want a shot at the little guy. I'll have my kids draw the rotation and list them on 9/2/07. Have at least 100 posts or 6 months with this forum please.

    I am in. Sounds like a hoot. I would also be willing to keep a spreadsheet of number of rounds, distance shot, caliber, etc so we can have accurate metrics on what it takes to destroy it, and I am sure we can destroy it.[}:)]

    I have the 4x4x4 sniper training cube it is a blast. I have put from 30.06 to a bmg rd in it. I even put some tannerite on top of it, made it jump 30 to 40 feet in the air.

    it may hold up to 1000's of rounds of normal rifle/pistol fire
    Anyone got a 50. I bet if one of you guys shot it, with a 50cal it will be done.

    I have a 300 win mag that i would be willing to shoot it with

    wow sounds like i might need tequila for this.

    ps dont enter me. it sounds like a ton of fun. i wont find the time i am at school to much and guns+school+shooting= not good

    I can't believe it'll make it as far down as me though!

    been toying with a similar idea myself. since i work in retail, i have access to mannequins. thought i'd buy a torso model, make a mold and mix up some ballistics gel to make my own targets for the range.
    if i do, i'll let you all know.
