A note on the BEER 1000 post giveaway
I jsut popped down 2 IPAs, now I don't check alcohol content because it is a PITA to the the specific gravity hydrometer test, so I don't know what it really is, but usually I can drink a 6 pack of store bought beer before I even feel it, and I'll tell you what, I am feeling quite good right now!

I'm sure folks sell crack on the streets all the time, too...0 -
I'll have two cases of IPA ready in a week.
Slip do you use the kits or your own recipes? I go with the Tru Brew kits. Make good beer, and it's handy to have everything all in one box.0 -

See my other posts for the links - I get it from Ashville brewers in NC. It is one of their own kits. They use exclusively liquid yeast which I think makes all the difference.0 -
I'll check that out. Thanks.. 0 -
I currently have about 20 gallons of homemade wine going. If it turns out ok to my tase I may do a giveaway for a couple bottles of it as well.
But it will be another month before it is done fully.0 -
G-R-D..I love home made wine also, and I make some now and then. I usually stay away from the give aways here, but maybe you and I could discuss a trade when the time comes.. 0 -
I would definately trade homebrew beer for homebrew wine. I want to get into that but am a little scared to try it. The beer is working well for me. I do like a nice, full bodied red with a woodsy flavor. 0 -
Actually wine is just as easy. It just takes months instead of weeks, mostly waiting.. 0 -
I think I need to give you a second opinion on that.... 0
