I can teach the pistol now

Well, I went and done it. I joined the NRA and went through the instructor class and then went through the pistol course. Now I'm NRA qualified to teach the basic pistol. Let the money making begin!!!! lol. I'm also RSO certified. The next one I'm doing is the shotgun. I already run a class on the shotgun so it shouldn't be any problem.

The good thing is, that class I went through will work as my safety class for my Tennessee CCW.....

  wow, rob, that's great! I'm sure you'll be a responsible teacher and be able to instruct today's youth in a fiiiine manner. (figured I'd reply to myself since no one else did[:D])
  
  It's funny how some people on the board can post the color of their poop and get like 50 responses while others....... don't.
  
  anyways, I thought it was pretty interesting that I went through the class and thought I would share it with you guys. If you don't care, then kiss my butt.[:D][:D]

  If you are teaching youth it is very rewarding, I teach the 4-H young uns trap shooting and skeet at our range. Nothing like seeing their faces light up when they break their first bird..[:)]

  How right you are! I ran a Boy Scout trap range a few months back so that they could get their merit badges and I did some safety and marksmanship classes with them beforehand.
  It is a good feeling to see the kid's face when they hit that first bird!

  I'm taking the Pistol Instrucor course this weekend and the Rifle and Shotgun next month.....as well as the Hunting Education Instuctor test later this month
