Harley ?
I have narrowed my choice down to one of two bikes. The 2007 Fatboy and the 2007 Heritage Classic. I am leaning towards the Fatboy, but the Heritage sure has a lot of features from the get go. Informed opinions welcome.[:o)]

Personally I would go with the heritage, I believe it comes with, bags, windshield, and triple head lamps. since they are pretty much the same bike I think you could make the heritage look like the fatboy for less than making the fatboy look like a heritage. just my .020 -

I agree with the advice above to go with the Heritage Classic. It comes with all the goodies that you will want down the road when you start heading out of town.
I have spent a lot of money trying to turn my Softail Deluxe into a Heritage so I can take the longer trips.
The seat is much better on the Heritage, it has back support. The bars are set up to keep your back from getting tired on trips. You get a windshield, that is $400 to add to a fatboy. You can not add large bags to the fatboy without taking off the pipes. Pipes are $1,000 and large bags are $1,000. The heritage has a much more usable luggage rack on the back and a backrest, I believe.
It will take almost 5K to change a fatboy into a heritage. Then you still have those nasty rims that will blow you all over the road.
I took one look at the Softail Deluxe and bought it. I have several friends that did the same with fatboys. They look really cool and are great for around town. But when you hit the highway the Heritage wins hands down.
If you are 5"9" or taller I would suggest you even take a look at the Road King. It is a much better riding bike for the highway and comes with all the goodies.0 -
+1 for checking out the Road King 0
