Found this old scanner in wifes grandparents old barn last week. It turns on and scans, squelch works, speaker is so loud it hurts your ears! Just will not intercept channels? What is it worth?

  Probably takes plug-in crystals. Worth zip actually.

  Yep! uses crystals, not worth much, got one just like it in my basement. Screws up tv reception.
