Heck, I can beat that, even without finding my other pants. I'll go $7 down and $7 a week--EASY! Just post me the details if you'ns agree.

Well, it went for a chunk, but I have no idea what it should have done. What should it have done, if I may be so rude as to ask?

I was guessing it would have been at least $2400.00 it makes me kind of want to just hang onto the 308 for a bit. Everyone else is so HIGH on their price and I think I know about what they have in their guns (if they bought them when they first came out) and I was a bit better in mine so I wasn't too worried about it. I will eat about $700 on this one. The odd calibur is a cool gun in the long run. They end up being worth twice what your standard calibur in the same gun eventually.

I'm sorry to hear you're eating a chunk on this one.

And thanks for giving up the info to educate me a bit.

It'll be OK. I'm just glad it was mine and not a consignment gun. I do hope the people of Cobb see this and have taken note on what the gun SHOULD be priced at (at least according to the voices of Gun Broker.)

RSR has them fairly cheap but not as cheap as yours sold for.
Sorry to see you lose on it.
On the flip side you will have One Very Happy customer[8D]

Go tell your son to get a haircut. It'll make you feel better. Sorry for your monetary setback. You'll make it up, I'm sure. Joe

LF The only Cobb that sells well on GB are the 50bmgs....
I figure the .308 might be more desirable than the .30-06....
A 338 Lapua went for less than 2000 a few weeks ago

To me the 3400 dollor asking price that most dealers are tagging the Cobb with put it completely out of the desirable range.
Especially for the .308 and .338 Lapua, simply because that is tha asking price for a Sako .338 Lapua TRG-42. Now if I'm shelling out 3400 bucks I'm buying the Sako. It has the name it and has the reputation and it is a far better looking rifle!!!

I'll try and watch for you Suburban...and when the time is right I will sell you a pile of Grendels. I heard about RSRs price....they are having their "E-show" this weekend. The E-show was pretty good a couple of years ago, but I haven't been all that excited over what they are offering lately. They used to have a BIG discount for everything listed. Now they have standard prices and one or two drastically discounted things (that are sold out way before you find them.)

The thing I hate about the RSR Eshow is it gets so bogged down from customers trying to place orders that their site functions like molasses in winter flowing up hill.
I hope they have upgraded their system to be able to handle the volume their Eshow attracts.

They are slower even during normal traffic days. You can check Ellet and Chatanooga in the amount of time it takes to just log onto RSR's site. I just call....I never ever check RSR on line. Last year I ordered 100 cleaning kits and some red dot scopes. The year before that I ordered a couple of guns and some other "doo-dads" but the first year of the E-show I ordered almost 30 guns.....they had a bunch of buy 5 get one free that brouht the prices down a good bit. I haven't even heard of a decent deal lately.
