Yes, we've been married for 30 years and I've always worn one. The only times I take it off are when I'm working around high voltage, around machinery or tools that can snag the ring, and when I'm hunting (noise of the ring hitting metal or wood).

My Wife passed away almost 5 years ago, and I'll wear it forever.

Never could wear it when I worked offshore so that kind of set the pace. I have one and wear it every once in awhile when we dress up and go somewhere.

I wore a 5 diamond white gold ring for a couple years. I don't wear it to work as it could get caught and torn off. In public I wear one. I just lost a diamond out of it(tetra gun cleaner) and I wear a normal band now.

Until my marriage went to hell, I hadn't taken my wedding ring off since the day we got married.

I now wear my deceased Brother's birthstone ring on my right ring finger.

He will be gone 3 years on 6/8/07. Coincidentally, my Mom's birthday - 6/8/10. I really miss him.

im not narried, but i shall answer this as if i were.

no, because i dont wear jewelry, except for special occasions. i keept all my fancy stuff(cuff links, tie bar, class ring) in a small jewelry box and only wear them for dressy occasions. i suppose, assuming i can ever dupe a girl into marrying me, i will sub the wedding band in for the class ring, if i get one.

Ring went on my finger 26 + years ago. I take it off if I am working on one of the cars etc. Otherwise I wear it all the time.

I used to wear mine 24/7. But now I've got carpul tunnel in my hands and for some reason it makes my finger itch if I wear it.

Almost 38 years and no, I watched a mechanic in the service weld his ring to the wrench that hit the battery and I had a boss missing his ring finger jumping of a steak bed truck and it took his finger. Construction and mechanic has no business wearing rings, rings don't keep you married.[:D][:D][:)][:p][^]

Nope, no jewelry of any kind.

Had to buy her another ring, she wore the band out on the first one.
Well, didn't HAVE to, volunteered to. She's worth it.

I wore one for many years but I ended up loosing it about 6 years ago. I always took it off when doing many different task and I would place it in my pocket. One day I went to get it out of my pocket and it wasn't there. I havent even thought about replacing it.

I don't wear jewelery... Not even a watch. Married 38 years this September. More important to be married in the mind and not on the finger.

Sometimes. It is a saftey hazard in some situations, it comes off.
Also, it can put handling marks on the forestock, not good.

Yep, I sure do. My wife would kick my butt if I didn't.
