Link does not work, but I am guessing it is the Glock 18? If so, it is a select fire version of the Glock 17. Have seen one fired at a federal demonstration, the fed shooting it said it was very controllable. 0 -
called a model 18. shot a police demo one years ago. fun but not my cup of tea. 0 -
swat team near here uses em. guy a point has one in one hand mirror in other
can get the conversion done on any glock for $350 and LE dept letterhead (or could)
I heard contractors in Iraq like the G19 w/ auto conversion b/c it is a good tool to get a-holes off your vehicle0 -
Think I saw it on "Futureweapons" or maybe "Mail Call", yesterday.
The shooter was keeping it mostly on the paper, from about 3 yards.
I still prefer marksmanship to spray and pray.

I've shot one of them hose guns. Trick is to hold the long mag that sticks out the bottom with the left hand and pull backwards as it fires. Gun will not climb but hose whole mag in about 2 seconds. 0 -
It was on mail call. The Gunny used it on some unsuspecting watermelon and almost creamed his pants. 0 -
that conversion can(or more appropriatley could have been) done on any glock with the right parts, since they are all basically the same gun. imagine a sub compact in f/a. that would be a completely pointless but really fun little toy 0 -
cobb co outside atl used them (at least they did a couple years ago)quote:Originally posted by HobbyGuy

Where is that (specifically)? I am unaware of any SWAT teams using them in the US.0
