Force Protection Inc. -- Cougar
I just saw a story about these vehicles on Nightline. What a beast of a vehicle! Need to get more of them to our troops.

Armor + glass are only rated to 7.62 NATO.
How does that make it any better than an up-armored LMTV, HEMTT, or Deuce-and-a-half?0 -

It is built for protection against IEDs. The vehicle is built around a special protective crew compartment. The compartment is shaped like a capsule with V-shaped edges on the bottom and sides. When IED's explode, the blast wave is diverted around the crew compartment. The exterior of the vehicle will sustain damage, but the troops are protected inside the compartment.
Here's a CBS new clip on the vehicles.
