Playboy's Hugh Hefner Backs Hillary
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has joined the celebrities who are supporting Sen. Hillary Clinton in the 2008 presidential race - he contributed $2,300, the maximum allowed, to her campaign.
But Sen. Barack Obama is grabbing most of the big names in Hollywood, according to The Hill newspaper.
Hefner has contributed heavily to Democrats over the years. His favorite in Washington is California Rep. Loretta Sanchez, who has reportedly received $13,200 in contributions from Hefner since 1996.
Sanchez sparked controversy in 2000 when she planned to hold a fundraiser at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills.[:D][:D][:D]
Other Hollywood figures backing Clinton include Rosie O'Donnell, Jerry Springer and Barbra Streisand, The Hill reports.
Celebrities who are backing Obama include Jennifer Aniston, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, Tobey Maguire, Barry Manilow, Eddie Murphy, Ed Norton, Ben Stiller and Gene Wilder.
Michael Douglas has contributed to the campaigns of Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson, and Richardson has also received a donation from Rosie O'Donnell.
Republican Rudolph Giuliani has received contributions from several Hollywood stars, including Kelsey Grammer and Adam Sandler.

The vast majority of Hollywood "celebrities" and popular music "stars" are our enemies, and these days most of them are poor performers too boot. This does not apply en toto to the Country Music scene, there seems to be some right thinkin' folks in that business. Oh, I forgot the Motor City madman, other than his poor taste in music he's OK.[8D] 0 -
That's really strange since it was Hillary that made it wrong for military personnel to look at porn, and therefore porn is very hard to find for sale on a military installation. 0 -
