new John Wayne Comm. Ammo
For the collectors out there. What do you think of the prices that the new JW ammo is going for? Anyone know somewhere to buy it reasonably? The packaging really sucks. Touch it and you'll scratch it so shipping is a big factor. I've seen the "empty" boxes go for over $100.00 on Flea Bay.

I bought a few boxes of it about 10 years ago for 5 bucks a piece. I remember I gave my brother a box of it and I think my ex gripe of a wife ended up with my box after the divorce.

The old stuff 32/40 is still around rogue rob if you're looking for some more. That's usually less than $40.00 but the new 44/40, 45LC and 30-30 are going for $75+, $35.+ and $30.+ a box respectively. The packaging is what really gets me. The boxes just damage too easily! Klondike and Little Big Horn boxes are the only ones I've seen that have the shinny exterior and they damage easily too. What could be the reasoning behind the fancy packaging? I'd have a box or 2 in my collection anyway since it's John Wayne-Winchester. 0 -
