AOL is Beyond Liberal Now
I dont think they even make an attempt to be impartial in their news now and all of their content. I decided to cancel them but then my girlfriend told me we actually dont pay for their service. I am going to check into it but AOL is out of control and there is NO WAY I am going to give them another penny.

well, be sure to send them a notice of why you don't want their service anymore. When I canceled they tried for months to keep me hooked up and refused to cancel the service. I do think they are losing a lot of customer base. 0 -
I quit using their messenger long ago. 0 -
Many years ago I had AOL just as DSL an Cable were infants. I had them for a week brfore noticing bogus charges on my CC. When I called up to cancel they refused and tried to say that is sometimes how we bill you.
I told them something like "Cancel my membership immediatly and NOW". I then waited for the "billing dept" for the same line of bullpie and told them the same thing. Needless to say I got it cancelled that very day.
Yes they did call about a month ago saying they were re-activitating my account; which I told them you will not dare do that with a few choice words of my own.
The only advise I can give is: Beware of the AOL monster; call your CC company and put a block on them, or you may find out later the hard way.0 -
Block any and all e-mail, etc from AOL. Tell the folks using AOL that your computer won't accept e-mail from AOL and then do it. 0 -
I cancelled my AOL account and they kept on billing me. So I contacted my credit union and they told me "We have a special letter that we send AOL". Haven't been charged since. 0 -
to be dumb enough to pay AOL fees,it helps to be a liberal 0
