Geraldo Revera's put in his place
Simcox Wins Fox Debate in Barrage of
Interruptions Demands Border Security
Chris Simcox on yesterday's Fox News Hannity and Colmes show held his ground, undaunted by Geraldo Rivera's duplicity and rudeness. Simcox demonstrated his first-hand knowledge of life at America's embattled southern border. Simcox challenging Rivera to spend time at the border with the Minutemen resulted in a retreat by Rivera, as Geraldo hurled false accusations and insults against the Minuteman citizen volunteer movement, and then changed the subject as he ran for cover. Rivera was reduced to a claim that our border security was just fine and that the real problem was what to do with the 12 million illegal aliens already here.
Geraldo is fooling no one! You cannot say you support border security then vilify U.S. Border Patrol agents for struggling to do their job - and THEN flip flop again and tell citizens to let the professionals do it and that all is well.
We would not have 12 million illegal aliens here if our government did its job and properly funded, supported and protected the professionals of the U.S. Border Patrol in enforcing immigration law. Instead, the bureaucrats in the back offices criminalize the front line enforcement agents' actions as they try to enforce the law and stay alive in the international cartel crossfire.
Chris Simcox, completely on message in the face of a barrage of distortions and interruptions from Rivera, continued to demand real border security and revealed the truth about how porous our border is as the current policy has failed to stop a floodtide of illegal aliens and violent foreign gangsters.
Rivera showed his total ignorance of the high standards of citizen participation in the Minuteman Corps - that all Minuteman Civil Defense Corps volunteers receive background checks, vetting and training, and that MCDC patrols also routinely perform rescue missions on endangered migrants. See the MCDC SOP.
Rivera in his attempted defamations of course could not cite a single incident or arrest of a Minuteman Civil Defense Corps volunteer for unlawful conduct, as he back-peddled and admitted that Chris Simcox and the MCDC represent the mainstream of the American public's border security movement.

I missed that debate, I could not bear to watch it. I get all the minuetman updates daily and favor what they do. I know Geraldo is a Hispanic from Puerto Rico and favors hords of hispanics being allowed to cross the borders as they wish.[:0][:0] 0 -
I saw it, and Geraldo tried his usual garbage, but didn't get away without an argument this time,...........how many caught Hannity making a "blurb", by saying he had no problem with the ones that are here now, just that we must take control of the border? 0 -
Geraldo has all the relevance of a dead mouse.

Rivera is so blinded by racism that it's damaged his reputation forever. He is incapable of intelligent debate where latinos,or minorities, are concerned. And, what makes it so noticeable is that half the time, his own mannerisms and lack of sincerity is overwhelmimgly obvious to anyone who cares to watch and listen to him. 0 -

Yes, I caught that, too. Hannity is a good guy, but he is gullible, and far too nice on the illegal alien issue, and the racist black community.0 -

Glad I wasn't the only one!0 -
Hannity also said that illegals are targets of violence by their own people, so they're doubly victimized when ICE/BP have to shoot them dead(in self defense).
The whole thing was ridiculous; they started talking about a case where the Agent had shot a guy 4-5 feet away, who was getting ready to hit the Agent with a rock.
Herrendo Revolver then started to turn the conversation by pantomiming throwing a rock, and asking where the illegal was aiming his arm, and why did the Agent have to shoot him, and why not just shoot to maim, and why aren't all those Agents in jail.
When that ploy failed, he started talking about a case where the Agent got indicted (in an L.A. Court) for shooting another illegal.
He then feigned confusion of the 2 cases, and attempted to read the report from the indictment, trying to mislead Hannity on the 2 cases.
Simcox was in the background the WHOLE TIME; telling the truth about the border "experience", instances where the MinuteMen fed illegals, got them medical help, etc.
Horrendo just started slinging cliches about vigilantes, and racists, and redneck bubbas with guns, intent on mayhem, then stated that Simcox had no idea who any of the volunteers were, and insinuated that they could all be racist murderers headed for the border to kill illegals, etc.: Simcox was heard through all of the Revolvers' ranting, explaining patiently that each and every volunteer was vetted better than when a gun gets bought by a foreigner, that there was training, and all kinds of rules, etc.
What got me really going was after all the hot air, and just before the break; Hannity professed his great and undying friendship with Horrendo Revolver, who was a kind and grand altruist of the highest order, blah blah blah. Whatta weenie!0
