If you have one of these programs, what all files on your computer are shared with other people?

And if you uninstall the program, are you still sharing those files, or is it like you never had the program?

  For all programs like that to my knowledge you do not have to share those files even while you have the program installed.

  you pick which folders are shared, you have to be logged on to share those.
  most I have seen are obnoxious about trying to keep you logged in all the time, and some will some try to autostart after you have closed
  With regard to copyrighted material, I have heard that being the "host" in volume is what determines whether or not you are a target for legal action
  Have not used one in a couple years
