    He will through a golf ball in the air and call the direction that he shoots it with a 12 gauge. But the most impressive thing I have seen him do was to take 12 clay pigions in his hand, toss them as hard as he could and then break every one before they hit the ground. I watched him do that three times back a few months ago. He has also made me a believer in benelli shotguns.

    Are you sure that's Tom? The guy I saw shoot 12 handthrown shoots for Winchester. I've seen Tom shoot 9. I also saw him miss a flushed gamebird so everybody is human occasionally.

    I saw him a couple years ago in person.He definatly puts on a good show.I also watched him hunting game birds on tv,and like he said there not as easy to control.

    Correct me if I am wrong but, Tom Knapp holds record of 10 hand thrown birds with the Benelli M2, and 8 hand thrown birds with the Benelli Nova. It is Patrick Flanigan who hold's the current record of 11 hand thrown clay's with the Winchester SX3 and the Fastest shootin time of 12 shell's in 1.44 second's. I beleive this to be true but there may have been a new record set recently.

    Y'know, there's ANOTHER Tom Knapp that does Bronzes and other artworks. I've seen his stuff in Wyoming, around Sheridan and Cody, and he used to have a studio in Ruidoso.
    That other guy can sure shoot a shotty though.
