Judge slammed algore's CROCumentary
A British judge this week slammed Al Gore's documentary "An
Inconvenient Truth" and said it contains egregious errors and bias.
Judge Michael Burton of London's High Court said the film had
no less than "nine scientific errors" and that the film should be accompanied by a disclosure that says the film makes "alarmist" and "exaggerated" claims.
The New York Post featured a diagram laying out Burton's
explanation of Gore's nine errors. It follows below.
AL GORE CLAIMED: BRITISH JUDGE RULED:
1 Sea levels will rise by up to 20 feet "in the near future." Only after a millennia.
2 Pacific atolls have been evacuated. No evidence.
3 Gulf Stream will shut down. Very unlikely.
4 Graphs showing rise in temperature and carbon dioxide are "an exact fit." Graphs "do not establish what Gore asserts."
5 Global warming caused Hurricane Katrina. Insufficient evidence.
6 Global warning dried up Lake Chad. Scientists say 'NO'
7 Global warming is bleaching coral reefs. Not clear what caused bleaching.
8 Polar bears drowned when they couldn't find ice. They died from a storm.
9 Global warming melted snow on Mount Kilimanjaro. Scientist say 'NO'

I can only address item No. 9.
Temps atop Mt. Kiliminjaro haven't gotten any warmer. Just as cold as it always has been.
Snow loss atop Mt. Kiliminjaro is due to de-forestation below the mountain. No longer are there abundant moisture-laden winds in the vicinity that would freeze at the higher elevations, constantly replenishing the icecap.
And these same winds, being dryer, are actually "eroding" the frozen cap, much the same way a block of ice in a freezer will eventually shrink due to the circulation fan. The process is called sublimation, where a solid changes directly to a gas, by-passing the liquid state. No global warming here, folks. Best, Joe0 -

Here's something REALLY scary; Mayor Marty Chavez has decreed that ALL city employees will take paid time to watch algore's movie in the interests of participating in the discussion about global warming.
Cops are being called out of their cars on patrol to go to the city council chambers to view this crap, and are being subjected to a campaign speech by Marty prior to seeing the film.
This waste of taxpayer money and loss of actual working cops is brought to you by the Marty for Senate Campaign.
