guess who's training Iraqi border guards

I've heard DynCorp is offering contracts for 120 personnel to train Iraq's border security units. They're targeting current and former members of the US Border Patrol to fill these slots, but it's not a requirement.

Anyone else see a problem with having these people show another country how to secure it's borders? [:D]

    Lovely. Mercenaries have done a bang-up job so far, let's give 'em more responsibilities and more money![xx(]

    Is it just me, or is the Administration still treating this more like a bake sale than a war?

    i do. apparently they training they receive will go something like this "okay, now the terrorists entering iraq are just here to blow up the children that iraqi terrorists wont"

    I have a great deal of respect and confidence in our Border Patrol agents. I think that any agency who hires them for this type activity is doing the right thing. If the Iraq government will back up their Border Patrol, and let them do their jobs, instead of treating them like the terrorist or the fool, then their Border Patrol agents should perform satisfactorily.

    They're not MERCS;they are civilian contractors. Just like the CCs that drive the trucks, guard and feed the troops, and haul gas across the country.
    Your unbridled hatred of this country and its' soldiers is palpable.
