It wouldn't be a tall order for our people to get to the bottom of the issue of whether these are Mexican military or cartel para-military hired guns. Having such forces providing security for smuggling operations creates opportunities that don't exist when you just have a couple of guys sneaking a load across by themselves.
What's you're seeing here requires coordination between the smugglers and these apparently well organized security forces. This means they have to be communicating and I'd bet their COMSEC probably isn't very tight. Our people are well equipped to intercept and monitor their comms no matter what they might be using. Even encoding would be no obstacle to us.
Doing this would allow us to have people in the right place at the right time to intercept them. These comms alone would probably answer the question of whether they're Mexican troops, but just incinerating them with a gunship wouldn't be the smart move. We would undoubtedly end up inflicting casualties, but we'd probably be able to capture at least some of them alive and seize their equipment intact. This would provide unarguable proof of who they are.
Doing this wouldn't even necessarily require the use of our military. We have the means, we only need desire.0 -

When the Libs and globalists are wringing their hands about all the "danger" when the Minutemen or some other volunteer border watch group are stationed down on the border, what they're really afraid of is this scenario.
Armed, by your tax dollars BTW, mexican .mil crosses the fence to escort a drug or Tonk shipment into the US. Volunteer border group (UNLIKE THE NG, who, under orders, RAN LIKE B1THCES when their LP/OP was overrun by armed men last year) and UNLIKE the BP, who routinely catch .meximil well inside our border and return them, and their guns to the fence. (Illegal importation of machine guns anyone? I guess ATF is too busy harassing importers of parts kits)...
anyway...Unlike those two groups who have to follow orders, usually belched forth by some toadie who is more concerned about keeping his job than doing right by America, the volunteer group sees the Truth.
Armed foriegners invading America, and proceeds to dispense long-overdue justice. This causes loss of life and bloodshed, probably on both sides, but I'm inclined to believe that the forces of Right would prevail. So then, you'd have the BS righteous indignation of the Mexishyt government, whining and carrying on about how "poor mexicans" were "ambushed" by blood-thirsty American vigilantes and they'd scream for their heads. Regular Americans would finally wake up to this border sham and the rather unpleasent situation would arise where OUR OWN .GOV (like it isnt' already) would be doing the bidding of a foriegn power, against our own citizens.
As it is now, the MMs report to the BP where they are going to be, and the BP reports the position to the Mexishyt Consulate, who reports it to the .meximil who reports it to their drug and tonk smuggling buddies.
My friends in BP Air Ops have seen, firsthand, .meximil hummvess full of tonks driving down the border road, right in front of MM positions to a place 20 miles or so from them so they can cross with less chance of being reported. AFAIC, this is an act of War.

Its only a matter of time until we have a skirmish with Mexican forces. So far these incursions have not raised any eyebrows but eventually they will.
I guess the local US Police have been avoiding a fight as they are usually outguned. We need a firefight and kill some of these mexican trespassers to finally bring the problem to light.0 -

These motorfletchers have been running shotgun for smugglers of all stripes for at least 15 years now, and if you haven't heard of it yet; you have been getting your "news" from the wrong sources!
There are settlements within 1/2 a mile of the T'ohno Odham(sp) Indian Rez in Southern AZ on the Mexican side, that host spotters, equipped with radios (tried scanning from 8MHZ all the way to the 1.3GHZ my scanner allows-no luck over 3 weeks), coolers, sleeping bags and food drops by illegals intent on trespassing.
These folks KNOW how to wait until shift change, and then they swarm over the "fence", which in some places is under 3 feet tall due to erosion.
BP is the biggest loser in the race to nab illegals because they have the same catch and release orders they had back when Carter was Prez.
If any NGO lets BP or the NG know about any illegal incursions; they are discounted out-of-hand simply because the people reporting are civilians.
Come to new Mexico and see them for yourself! Even the border bridges are a joke as far as maintaining a presence; they have a shift change, too!0
