A veteran honored
Got this in an email and was really impressed by the kids's desire to honor this man and share their moment in the spotlight.
Spade, TX, is about 25 miles from Hockley Co. Spade is located between Levelland and Littlefield, in Lamb Co.
Spade is named for the original Spade Ranch, which used to cover parts of 3 or 4 counties, and was the headquarters. The surviving Spade Ranch is a few miles from Smyer, between Levelland and Lubbock. Still a large ranch but nothing like it was a century ago.
Take a few minutes to watch this through to the end. Sort of makes up for the crappy people and bad stuff in this world!!
