A one off from a machine shop would be about what it sold for.
A mass produced item would be about 5.000 -

That would be cheap for a one off Without seeing an end view it looks like it requires cutting the profile from flat stock (laser, water jet or large punch press set up and time) brake tooling, setup and time, welding the bayo lug (time) and spot or plug welding major components together within what I would guess are rather small tolerances. Any shop that has all this equipment would not be interested in making one part.
Machining from one billet would require hours if done on a manual machine, as well as some specialized tooling, none of which is cheap and some may have to be made, probably requiring a heat treating vendor. If done on a CNC mill digitizing would take time. Most places bill at least $50/hr for a burden rate, probably most of them higher. 3 hours? no way, and that doesn't include tooling or materials.
Most 870 guys are hunting birds. This isn't done with a bayonet. This means that for every 870 out there probably better than 100 have no use for this. The part needs to make enough money to pay the cost of R+D time, tooling, setup time and operating time, not to mention finishing and materials. The part you are looking at probably represents at least $100,000 investment. They'd have to be reasonably well assured that they would sell over 1,000 to amortize costs.0 -

The piece you showed wasn't machined except for the strap holder. It was formed.
Now if this was a 1 off part made from stock, $150 would not even touch it. Around this area machine shops are charging between 60-70 an hour for manual work and 60-100 for CNC work. The easiest way would be on a CNC lathe, with some special tooling, and cut out the center, then move to a milling machining center and do the contouring. I am guessing that the pieces is about 3 inches long.0 -

I would say from the pictures that the Barrel and Mag tube bands are stamped steel and the sling loop is bent rod and the only machined part is the bayonet lug. 0 -
To have one custom made at a machine shop is going to cost you a bunch. Without seeing a endview and looking at the profile, there are about 6 setups on the piece. Ballpark is going to be in the 500-600 buck range.

Most likely as soon as you say the words gun part,they are going to show you the door.I had a heck of a time finding a shop to machine a piece of DOM seamless tubing into a barrel for my 45MM cannon.I found a shop that did do the work after I told them it was a part needed to repair a 1930s Cletrac bulldozer front drive sprocket axle.The machinest looked at my drawing and said hmmmm.They did the work,took my money and told me not to blow myself up.
