I bought a pair one for my wife. They had the highest insulation as Ive ever seen. They have 2000 Grand of Thinsulate insulation, they are for extreme cold. Plus there water proof, and very light to wear. Most of my Rocky's have 400 or 600 Grams of thinsulate and thats always plenty even sitting in a stand on a very cold day. My feet get cold Im miserable and there first to get cold. I give Guide Gear a thumbs up. 0 -
I've found I need to try Boots on before I buy. Have a couple pair or Guide boots around the house that are just too big. 0 -

How much bigger are they? What size?0 -
I wear either a 10 or 10.5 in shoes. I have 2 pairs that looked like a Danner FT. Lewis and Danner Arcadia. Both are 10.5 and feel like 11's.
We just got a Cabella's here in IL that carries the Brown version of Danner Arcadia. One of these days I'm going to go try some on.0 -
Can't help but think that the logo stuff is just seconds and mismatches or returns. Bought a set of electronic earmuffs w/Guide Gear logo; they block almost all sound, even when talking. Got a pair of GG binoculars; lens on left side was in with plastic blob which cocked it slightly. Got a pair of GG longjohns that were supposed to be size Large; so small, my cousin's 14-year old can't get in 'em.
Was given a GG logo cleaning kit; rod is so thin, I can't get the jags to screw into the end! If their boots are as wacky as the rest of the GG stuff I've experienced; buy some cheapos at Big 5 and call it a day!0
