Vet cuts down Mexican flag...video
Check out this video.
A Vet, angry over a Mexican business flying the Mexican flag ABOVE Old Glory on same pole, cuts down the flags...taking Old Glory with him and leaving Mexico's on the floor. A bunch of Messicans look in bewilderment at the Vet and do nothing.

Someone should be pinning an award on that Vet's chest. 0 -
I still don't have audio on my PC, but I notice that the bystanders did not approach him as he made no attempt to hide what appeared to be a K-BAR. [:D] 0 -

It is not illegal for every flag to fly over the US flag. The religious service flag (more correctly a pennent) flies over the US flag on Navy ships during religious services.
I knew that qualifying Surface Warfare would be good for something.....[:)]0 -
Is that in port or out at sea? [8D] I know, there's one in every crowd! [8D] 0 -
sorry shipmate, the foreign flag flies over a u.s. flag only if the flag officer is from a visiting country is of higher rank than the captain or/and has command of the ship AT SEA. or else, the foreign flag flies of the smaller pole alongside, or under the u.s.. normally stared admirals get to have the pennant with their stars overhead, but foreigners dont merit u.s. pennants, thus they get their countries flag.
NOT AT A STORE IN THE USA.
the religious service pennant flies at the highest point to show that services are being held and so other ships will not come too close, in case burial at sea is taking place....and run over the corpse. thats why its must be at its highest point.0 -
About time for a stand on this! This is the US not Mexico!!!!!!!!!! 0 -
This turns me a few shades of red. The bar owner is a moron. Kudos to the news for actually covering the story, and at the end of the video it talks about the raids on McDonald's w/ over fifty arrested illegal immigrants? I guess McDonalds is off the diet list. Wow, I hope Mcd's gets huge fines for their Illegal hire of law breakers. America has a bleak future. 0 -
I think you misunderstood my point. All flags are illegal to fly over the US flag EXCEPT the church service flag. In the interview video the newsman says ALL flags are illegal. Just pointing out a minor indiscretion. I in NO WAY support that kind of crap, ie displaying a foriegn flag atop the US flag. 0 -
Peter Lynch, an eight-year veteran of the US armed forces, recently (15,16Sept.)cut down a Mexican flag flying ALL ALONE over the UNM campus in Albuquerque, saying it is illegal to fly a foreign flag without the US flag.
Race pimps and haters like the La Raza Unida and Mexican Students groups have called the incident Race-Related because he cut down the Mexican flag the day after Mexican Independence Day (Constitution Day here in the US), and tore it into tiny pieces. He had contacted the UNM President's office several times in the days leading up to his assault on a foreign flag, even going so far as to contact the ROTC, who is responsible for the raising and lowering of the US flag.0
