Rockasneeky, I wonder what the people that own the ranches/property along the border are doing, are they "in bed" with the MEX? Why are they not reporting all these activities? PAY-OFFS? THREATS? What is going on?

Jeff, I have no idea. Wasn't there a post recently about people living along the border shutting down and fighting building of the fence?

Besides, I am sure people report it but if the Feds aren't listening to their own employees do you really think they are going to listen to us, peons?

Most of the Texas ranchers and landowners along the border there are assumed to be receiving "REFUNDS" for the use of their land.

There is a "HUGE" amount of money involved in the drug trade there.

That is why there is NO publicity.

The media crushes these reports where possible. Even Fox News is more concerned with their type regulars. Hey, it is apparent that the D&R Party wants open borders and the illegal alien invasion, to include, the drug running to continue.

Our border patrol is not and never will be, IMO, equipped to combat the Mexican military or heavily armed drug runners using machine guns and humvees. We need our southern borders protected by the military who is equipped to combat such invasion forces. However, this will not happen, especially when our media and political leaders censor these incidents to where the public is kept dumbed down.

This is the nice thing about a discussion forum.

A Cow farmer on the border gets paid $200,000 to look East for two hours. And no press is notified of this "INCURSION".

I do not wonder why it does not make the news. I know why. Hummers, M2s, 60 armed troops and $$$ are persuasive.

I am as Libertarian as anyone on this site but I think some here are just paranoid as Hell.

I'll tell you what I think cpermd. I think we have the most low down %$&* &%^% in government that ever lived. Tell me why anyone worth a dam in charge of the Texas or U.S. government would allow an armed, hostile invasion of America's borders. Where is the outrage that these lowlife ^$%*&*(&^% should be voicing to the Mexican government and the American people? Bunch of dam crooked yellow bellies, if you ask me.

If the government, which is _representative_ government, isn't doing its job, what is the responsibility of the people?

Tell me what kind of parents would allow their kids to be beaten, shot, or killed, without a word of outrage or retaliation?! Tell me what kind of leader that has the least little bit of decency or spine would allow their state or federal borders to be violated and have their citizens attacked and killed without retaliation? Worthless, spinleless individuals? Worthless, spineless criminals? You tell me?

    Kimi, I am not arguing.
I think you are right. But I also know what is happening and why there is no press reporting of the incidents. Money TALKS!!

I have the wherewithall to move and I am just trying to decide which country would be the best for me to live out my life in.

I feel you are right cpermd, but that is not why the latest incident was shut off from the public. This is nothing short of outrageous, and the governor of Texas and Bush need to get off their duffs and stand up like someone besides a dam coward! This hostile invasion should not be buried, ever! Thanks for your story though, because you are exactly right.

They should take strong action on crap like this. I really don't understand our goverment anymore and why they let Mexico get away with all this while beating the hell out of countries halfway around the world.

I'm with you kodiak. Lord God have mercy on us with the weaklings who are supposed to be leaders and don't have the guts to act like a common man.

Personally I think they have plenty of guts. I think the problem is corruption.

I doubt they have any guts whatsoever - seriously.

I heard one of the Senators that actually care about this sort of thing (don't remember which one) on a talk show back then. He said that when he toured the border areas, he found that the local Sherriffs knew all about the incursions and the Mex merc OPs and all that, but didn't have the resources to handle it themselves.

He flat out asked a group of them: "If I can get you the machineguns [etc.], how long would it take you to clean this up?"

    Answer: Two weeks.

As has often been said about the war on terror, the US has the power to decisively deal with the problem, but not the will.

I hate to get started on the lowlife in positions of power again this late at night, so I'm off to hit the sack. May the good Lord strike them before sunrise!
