I have to respect that. Gibbs is a stand up guy and stands by his virtues. Richard Petty wouldn't have a beer sponsor either. 0 -
Joe Gibbs is a dunce for not taking a chance at the Budweiser money. Who cares what his personal issues with alcohol are,....the money runs the team, nobody said you had to drink beer.

The problem with Gibbs is that he is a hypocrite. He has Budweiser on all three of his cars and races in the Bud Shootout every year. At least Petty will stick to his guns and not compete in the Bud Shootout if his cars did win a pole. 0 -

All the local tracks around me have family alcohol free seating. None of these tracks sell beer but do allow you to carry coolers in with your own beer as long as you stay out of the no alcohol areas.0 -

Junior is considered to be the premiere free agent in NASCAR. He can practically write his own ticket. It beats me why that is, he's not 1/10th the driver his Pop was. I've a feeling that he's destined to be another Mark Martin - a beloved also-ran.
Another thing beats me. Why is it that any adult-beverage manufacturer can stamp their ad all over the cars/drivers, but cigarettes are banned?
It'll be Winston Cup to me forever regardless of what the PC pukes do to the sport.0
