The most amazing knife deal....
I saw, last night on satellite television, the most incredible knife deals. Apparently, FROST CUTLERY is selling knives, swords, tactical knives, pocket knives and Bowie knives at like, 100 for as little as $150 bucks. That's knives for like about a couple of dollars or less per. I mean, what's not to like about 100 knives which can be sold (they say) for ten, fifteen and twenty bucks? so you can double or triple your money real quick.
Anybody got any firsthand information about these startling deals?
And oh yeah, if you have the right kind of sense of humor, watching these folks is wonderful. Tom Odell is pretty much a redneck jerk, while Shelia Travis is kinda cute.
Should I order a batch or two?

They are not the best quality. 0 -
I bought some, and tried re-selling them. Ended up losing money. Maybe if I had time to sit on them for a few years, they would make money, but I figured after 6 months, let's wholesale them and get them out of here.
I concluded that it may look like a good deal, but the price they are selling for on TV is all they are worth, and then some.0 -
You'll never be able to sell these knives for $15 or $20. Most flea-markets, knife shows, gun shows, and other trading spots have these knives for $1.00 each. If you still would like to try your hand at it, Smoky Mtn Knifeworks has the 20 for 20 deal, 20 knives for $20, plus shipping of course. 0 -
I got a set a couple years ago. First I sold the sword and 3 large daggers to a pawn shop for $50 then sold enough at $2 and $5 to pay for the rest. There were 2 or 3 decent knives in the set that I kept and still use. 0 -
If it sounds too good to be true... it probably is. Most Frost stuff is junk. If you need 150 knives, then yes, it is a very good deal, but other than that as far a resale goes, stay away. Personally, I only collect high-end switchblades. [:D] 0 -
Frost knives are known to be low-grade, flea-market quality, throw-away knives. Don't plan on retiring with them - the Home Shopping channels know what they're doing. Remember that they're already making a profit at $1.50 each. If there was room for more, they'd be doing it! 0 -
you get what you pay for..them are junk[;)] 0
