Where Did The Universe Come From?

first let me introduce you to the concept of entropy. the longer you let stuff knock around, the more it will become disordered. that's entropy. that's what makes fart molecules spread around a room; that's what makes heat dissipate from a hot object into the air. entropy never goes backwards. otherwise, when you walk into a room with a fart in it, it would spontaneously go schwoooop and stick to your butt, and your french fries would never get cold.
ok. let's move on to 'the big bang'. scientists say that at the beginning of the universe, all matter that ever existed was crammed into a 'singularity'. then it blew up and stuff flew everywhere. well, let's take a closer look at what that explosion looked like and how it started making the universe.
when it was 'exploding', as you can imagine, it was very very hot. during these conditions, matter did not exist as matter; it was all energy. not electrons, not subatomic particles, not even quarks or whatever. just energy. as the explosion expanded and cooled, then the energy could cool and form subatomic particles and small atoms like hydrogen and helium. and all this excess energy in the middle of nothing formed every kind of particle there is, just floating around loose. most of it combined to form that hydrogen and helium.
also, from the point of the explosion and up to when it all cooled off somewhat, physical phenomena behaved differently. the laws of physics did not change. it's just that according to the laws of physics, under such conditions, things act differently. in the current conditions of our universe, space has 3 dimensions and time is seperate; then, however, time and space were indistinguishable.
also, there is another important point to be made about the expansion. as a result of the explosion, all kinds of radiation shot outwards. light, gamma rays, x-rays, microwaves, radio waves, all that are radiation- it all shot out at the speed of light.
beyond that, what existed? NOTHING. no time, no space. nothing. so you see, not just 'nothing' existed beyond how far radiation had radiated out so far, but time and space didn't exist beyond that. the universe did not exist beyond what had been spewed out so far. these laws of physics hold true today: you go out to the boundaries of where radiation has gone since the 'big bang', and beyond that radiation, the universe does not exist. that is the boundary of where the universe ceases to exist.
well, before the explosion, what was there? the singularity, and nothing else existed. you could go one inch away, and time and space did not exist.
SO. this huge explosion that blew crap everywhere, cooled off, and in some places there was more crap floating around than other places. where there was more, gravity pulled it together. that is how galaxies are formed. galaxies are huge and far between. what was left over between galaxies has since cooled into gas, dust, and miscellaneous radiation floating around.
in a galaxy, the action of the mass coming together makes it swirl around. galaxies are still huge enough so that local clouds of gas and dust swirl around in their own swirly to form solar systems, which are like mini-sized galaxies.
when a solar system forms, the gas and dust swirl around, cool off, and get lumpy. again, since more mass accumulates in the middle, that's where a star is formed; planets form in the gas and dust swirling around the star.
yet again, planets are formed from gas and dust the same way. they may have moons or rings of rocks circling them as a result.
and we're all familiar with the formation of this planet. so that's where we all come form.
BUT we're not finished yet! what we saw was the effects of entropy. all that came from the big bang has diffused across the expanding universe and cooled. go back to 'the big bang' and to figure out what was it that blew up in the first place, follow the effects of entropy backwards to see what it must have started out as.
all that energy, but with zero entropy, would be one big peice of energy. that's it. nothing else. no time or space would be required if that's all that existed, eh??
I call this my Big Wave theory, since raw energy comes in waves.
it started off that way, and as far as we know, blew up and thus initiated the phenomena of time and space, expanding its univese as it went. all the matter and energy that exists in the universe came from that singularity.
let me ask you, what do we see in our universe that does the same thing?

what happens when a black hole is formed?
a certain amount of mass, collapses into a singularity, where the laws of physics are all distorted inside a boundary from which no light can escape. sound familiar?
I think we're living in a black hole.
but black holes aren't as big as a universe, you say; of course they're not from our perspective. but I think that from within, relativistic physics would change all proportions of time and space such that your universe, within a black hole, would of course 'be' that large and that old.
now, within our universe, we have many black holes. my explanation is that if our universe does in fact consist of the interior of a black hole, then our own universe, creating the same phenomenon, must have spawned untold numbers of universes inside our own black holes.
I call this my Cosmic Zits theory.
if this is true, then while matter and energy cannot be created from nothing, it must be true that the scale of matter and energy have relativistic properties as do time and space. the "magnification" of matter inside a black hole would not require addition of more matter, of course, it's the same amount. but it's not, it's more. that's a function of relativity and perfectly normal.
I call that my Cosmic Relativistic Silly Putty theory.
furthermore, I have always suspected that energy/matter is simply time/space wrapped up into a ball. which would be a prerequisite to all of the above.

The thingy that spawned the big bang was a singularity (linear size = 0, whatever your units).
Black holes are not singularities; they can be measured in terms of their diameters. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that a human, compressed to the size of a proton, would make a small black hole.

Man will not comprehend the Universe until he finds another way to look at it other than using his eyes.
Mankinds lifetime is such a millisecond of space time, that we can't see that our planetary system is moving faster than the speed of light through space and that all the stars are moving further apart to eventually burn out and become dead worlds until some black hole sucks it all in and starts the whole process all over again.0 -

there is an interesting phenomenon called "quantum entanglement", where supposedly, you can do something to 1 particle, and another particle far away will respond faster than what it would have taken for light to get to it.

good post; there is a part of us that can't help pondering these questions, even if we are incapable of truly understanding them.
If everything that we can say exists was contained within that singularity that exploded, is the space where it originated now filled, or void? Did everything therein contained radiate outward, leaving a void space at the origin which would expand at the same rate the singularity radiated ? Is there any change in the balance between void and matter? If entropy holds universally, then "black holes" will run down and cease attracting anything due to zero energy balance. Just how big IS that head of the pin, upon which the angels are said to dance?0 -

Oh crap...I am a Jimmy Buffett fan and no way am I able to get deep into this but...
isn't there a theorist....I cannot remember his name ./...that proposed that quantifying these particles is imposible as to do so affects them?0
