I was digging through some off my stuff and found thois old belt buckle. My sister gave it to me after she went through hisfire fighting school

saw the special on discovery channel about those oil well firefighters. Amazing stuff.

Had just watch that John Wayne movie (or part of it) about that and it was pretty neat.

The movie was called "Hell Fighters".

It was filmed in Baytown Texas back in the late 60's. My uncle who worked for an oil company in Baytown back then was used as an extra in the movie. He even got me the Dukes autograph.

The last scenes from the movie where they had the transport and military was filmed out on the old airfield on Poison Spider west of Casper Wyoming. couple shots you can see Pine Mtn and Casper mtn in the background

Did you ever notice that the cast of this movie was almost the exact cast from the movie the Green Berets?
