yesterday i was in the far left lane, and this street bike was way far back, couldnt even see him, anyways, i get over a lane to the right and hes doing about 70-80 in a 45, so i get over and apparently he had planned on getting over as well, he comes flying up next to me yeling, i only wish i had opened the door, and watched him flip over my car, it would have been totally worth it.

I was doing the speed limit, he just merged and changed lanes without moving his head or signaling.

Few years back, was in Denver- Volvo puled up to light on my right. Suddenly a biker rolled up between us, said "Excuse me". Reached over into the Volvo, snapped off the turn signal, tossed it out in front of the car. Said "If you ain't gonna use this, thought I would get it out of your way." Light changed, he headed out. Volvo driver sat there with mouth open. Not a course of action I would recomend, but a memorable one.

It is much better to speed a bit and get well ahead of idiots in cars. As a general rule a MC has better odds when running 2- 5 MPH above the flow of traffic. It keeps from being overtaken; the most dangerous situation for a MC with a four-wheeled vehicle.

Around these parts I see new Harley drivers lolly-gagging down the road at 50 MPH. Traffic gets backed up and folks get impatient. I AM ONE OF THE IMPATIENT ONES. Ride the damn bike or get the hell out of the way. Either one is fine with me.

    Oh, nice rant!

That's because thats all the faster a stock "Harley" will go [:D] . They don't call em "Rolls Canardly"s for nothing (rolls down one hill and can hardly get up the next hill)

I rode a bike for 30+ years, then about 5 yrs ago I damn near got taken out on a daily basis for an entire summer! The icing on the cake was when an old woman pulled out in front of me while I could hear her grandson screaming that I was coming. And that was with the helmet on and over the freaking screeching tires! Nope folks. Ole PT was right there is one born every minute. He was referring to anyone that would put his stupid ass on a motorcycle in a world where there are 50 idiots born during that same minute!!!

Around here it is female bimbos on cell phones. They pull out in front of you, or change lanes without looking. Cell phone conversations are sooo important. There should be a national law that says all females under the age of 25 can not own or use a cell phone. Period.

Actually, it is "cage", as in: what is it that idiot drivers are contained in ?? ANSWER: a cage.

It's summertime, you riders - there ar lots more 4 wheelers out there, being dumb. BE CAREFUL !!!

If you are dead, it doesn't matter that you were right.

A pocket full of old nuts and bolts works great. I used to always keep them in my jacket pocket.

I was driving down 94 yesterday in my little Mazda truck.I`d just got on the highway and was doing 70...cuz thats the damned speed limit. Someone decided to pass me ,but before he could get all the way around me another pinhead decided he couldn`t wait for him to get around me. The guy got beside me and started moving over.I slamed on the brakes and
headed for the shoulder. He barely cleared me ,then proceeded to pass the other guy on the right. When he cleared him ,he moved back into the left lane and passed the next guy.I got off at the next exit.

[8D]--When that happens, you should follow the individual-off the hiway, pull alongside-motion to roll window down, then say "really, sir. I think you should put some more caution in your next move-not similar to the one you just educuted--

--If you do the same thing to ME again, I will thrash you severelly, probably ruin your chance of procreation and limit your ability to mingle with members of the oposite sex, you will have to learn how to navigate in tomorrows world without the ability to WALK to and fro--

--I hope I haven't offended you and you be sure to have a good day allways keeping my comments in the foremost part of you cranium--

Used to arm myself with ball-bearings, a churchkey, a nice-sized rock, golfballs, etc. Busted off a few mirrors, caused a few dents and probably a few underwear changes, too.

I've mellowed out a bit, but I let the finger fly if some eedjit pulls a bonehead move. Loud pipes help you be "seen", but too bad some people are just plain stupid.

Keep the rubber side down, man. Making me nervous. Tomorrow I plan to get my bike rolling again (small repair turns into modifictations turns into 4-month project).

Yea, that'll teach 'em! Seriously, you've got to drive defensively, all the time. I was coming up a long straight grade the other day and I saw an old pickup with a load of hay bales piled high. I eased over in the left lane (four lane highway) and sure enough, when I was about 200 yards behind him, a bale fell off and bounce about 12 feet in the air. My wife was on the back. If I would have ran up behind him, my wife and I would not be here today. Watch out for the idiots and assume that they are all idiots!

On a bike, you are INVISIBLE. Act like it. It's the only way to survive.
